An agent can connect an IDX MCP and a CRM MCP to the same compatible AI assistant. The IDX connection can answer questions about listings, saved searches, site activity and leads in the agent's IDX account. The CRM connection can help the agent work with contacts, tasks, conversations and opportunities in the CRM account they authorize. That is useful for a reviewed, one-at-a-time workflow.
This is an integration proposal, not a released GoHighLevel + IDX sync. We have not installed or tested HighLevel's connection against a customer's IDX account. A shared chat does not continuously move leads, merge contacts or send follow-ups by itself.
What exists today
- Virtual Results has an IDX Broker MCP and an iHomefinder MCP in early access. Their account access and available actions differ by provider.
- iHomefinder tools can prepare a lead export with GoHighLevel column headings. The agent reviews the file and imports it in GoHighLevel; this is a manual import, not automatic sync.
- HighLevel documents an official LeadConnector MCP with OAuth sign-in and per-location access. Its published operation catalog includes contacts, conversations, opportunities and calendars. The operations an individual user can run depend on the scopes and location they grant.
- Virtual Results also has a separate Follow Up Boss MCP implementation. Customer availability and cross-product workflows require their own release checks; its existence does not make a GoHighLevel connection available through Virtual Results.
A first assisted workflow
- The agent connects their own IDX account and their own GoHighLevel location in the assistant. They check both account names before acting.
- They ask the IDX tools for a particular lead's inquiry and relevant property interests. The assistant displays the source and time of each item.
- They ask the CRM tools to look for an existing contact in that location. The agent reviews possible matches, ownership, opt-out state and which details should transfer.
- After approval, the assistant creates or updates the CRM contact and a task or internal note. A message, automation enrollment or appointment invitation needs its own explicit review.
- The agent reads back the CRM record and confirms the IDX source identifier was retained.
This can be tried as a guided task once both connections and account permissions are verified. It is not a promise that every IDX provider exposes every lead field, or that a contact will match automatically.
What a real integration would add
A dependable lead handoff needs a Virtual Results bridge: per-customer account pairing, field mapping, source IDs, duplicate decisions, consent and suppression checks, a durable event queue, idempotent writes, error recovery and an audit trail. It must verify each provider's terms and the exact customer account before any data moves. A direct connection to two MCP servers gives an assistant tools; it does not supply those controls.
The CRM remains the owner of its contacts, assignments, conversations and opt-out state. The IDX provider remains the source for site events, listing facts and saved searches. Property or lead data moves only for an authorized task and only with the permissions the customer grants. Outbound email, text and automation enrollment are separate actions.
Help shape the first workflow
Tell us which IDX provider you use, which GoHighLevel location you manage, and whether your first task is a reviewed lead import, follow-up brief or something else. Request a workflow. We will confirm the actual account capabilities and release status before setup.
IDX Webmasters is the IDX division of Virtual Results. GoHighLevel, LeadConnector, Follow Up Boss, IDX Broker and iHomefinder are third-party products; this independent proposal does not imply their endorsement.
