Native integration

IMPress for IDX Broker plugin

IDX Broker documents its IMPress plugin for embedding IDX widgets and page links in WordPress.

Requires a compatible WordPress site, an IDX Broker account and API key, and applicable MLS access. This displays IDX content on a site; it is not a CRM or LinkedIn sync.Run by IDX Broker.
Native integration

IMPress form integration

IDX Broker says IMPress can import leads from Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms and Ninja Forms into IDX Broker.

Requires IMPress setup and field mapping. Ninja Forms on an IDX wrapper page has a documented limitation; this is form-to-IDX lead capture, not CRM sync.Run by IDX Broker.

A vendor or Zapier listing does not mean Virtual Results has connected your accounts. Confirm current availability and the exact fields with the provider before setting it up.

How to set it up.

These steps are summarized from IMPress for IDX Broker on WordPress.org (Plugin last updated September 10, 2026 (version 3.3.1)). We checked the page on 2026-10-09. We have not tried them in a customer account, so screens may differ.

Add the IMPress for IDX Broker plugin to your WordPress site

You need:

  • An active IDX Broker account (the plugin page names Lite or Platinum; IDX Broker now calls Platinum Engage)
  • Your IDX feed approved by your MLS or board
  • The API key from your IDX Broker setup email (also under Home, then Access Control, in your IDX Broker account)
  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins, then Add New, search for IMPress for IDX Broker, and install it.
  2. Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu.
  3. Open the IMPress for IDX Broker page in WordPress, enter your API key, and click Save.
  4. If you want, use the one-button option to create a wrapper page so your IDX pages match your site.

What to expect: The plugin pulls your IDX Broker account information into WordPress, which makes widgets, shortcodes, lead management and listing import available.

Good to know:

  • The page says imported listings are limited to featured listings.
  • Your IDX content is hosted on an IDX Broker address such as search.yoursite.com.
  • Use the current plugin version. The 3.3.1 update fixed missing-authorization security issues.

Turn approved listing information, search links or widgets into a draft for your WordPress website.

What you can do

  • Draft a listing post from approved public listing facts.
  • Build a neighborhood draft around a useful search link.
  • Add an approved search widget to a page draft.

Example request

Use the approved listing facts or saved-search link I identify to prepare a draft on my linked VR-hosted WordPress site. Check for an existing page, retain attribution and links to the original information, and include no private lead information. Read back the draft and stop before publishing.

How it works

IDX Broker supplies approved property facts, saved links or embed codes. VR WordPress tools create or update a reviewed draft on the linked site. Account data about individual leads is not public page material.

Good to know

Current WordPress tools work on sites hosted by Virtual Results and linked to your account. We prepare a draft for you to review before publishing.

Use only approved public information and keep private lead details out of website content.

Some listing searches require an account under the Virtual Results IDX partnership. Ask us to check your account.
