What happened to LionDesk
LionDesk was a CRM (customer relationship manager, the app where you keep contacts and follow-up) owned by Lone Wolf. In May 2025, HousingWire reported that Lone Wolf was discontinuing LionDesk, that it would stay operational through September 2025, and that customers would be offered migration support to Lone Wolf's newer CRM, Relationships.
The LionDesk sign-in page was still online when we checked on October 10, 2026, and it offers "Sign in with Lone Wolf Account." LionDesk's developer connection (API), which other apps used to send contacts to LionDesk, is shut off: when we checked on October 10, 2026, it answered "This API has been permanently sunset." If an IDX or website lead tool sent leads to LionDesk through that connection, those leads will not arrive. Send them to your new CRM instead.
If you can still log in, export your contacts now, whichever CRM you choose.
Move to Relationships by Lone Wolf
Lone Wolf's own steps, from its March 2025 Relationships announcement:
- Log into LionDesk.
- Connect your Lone Wolf account.
- Migrate your contact data into Contacts in Relationships.
Lone Wolf published these steps in March 2025, before LionDesk closed. Confirm with Lone Wolf support that the move is still offered for your account.
What moves: Lone Wolf names contact data only. It does not say that notes, tasks, texts, emails or campaigns move. Open a few contacts in the new account and check what arrived. Keep your export file until you are sure.
Move to another CRM
You do not have to follow Lone Wolf. The usual method is the same for any CRM: export your contacts from LionDesk, then import them into the new one.
- Export from LionDesk. Top Producer's guide describes it: click your name, choose Profile, choose Export LionDesk Contacts, then download the file from the email link or your Profile page. The contacts arrive as a CSV file (a spreadsheet file).
- Import into your new CRM. Follow Up Boss publishes LionDesk steps: export a contacts file and a contact notes file, import the contacts first, then the notes. For any other CRM, check its help pages for current import steps.
Steps and plans differ by CRM and can change. Follow the new CRM's current guide, and ask its support team if a step does not match what you see.
Connect Relationships to other apps today
Lone Wolf Relationships does not have a public developer connection (API) that we can find. It is not listed in Lone Wolf's API Portal. The one route we found is Zapier:
- Zapier. The Lone Wolf Relationships app on Zapier has one action, Create Contact. A first name is required; last name, email, cell phone and lead source are optional. It has no triggers, so it can add a contact to Relationships but cannot read contacts or send them to other apps.
- Zapier MCP for an AI assistant. The same Zapier page offers Zapier MCP, which lets an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT use that action. You could ask your assistant to create a Relationships contact from details you give it. This is a route you set up yourself with your own Zapier and Lone Wolf accounts. It only creates contacts, and Virtual Results has not tested it.
A listing on Zapier does not mean your accounts are connected, and Zapier's plan limits apply. You set it up, check the result, and review any contact before you rely on it.
What Virtual Results is doing
Virtual Results has asked Lone Wolf for access to connect Relationships to other apps. That access is not available yet, and nothing is live. This is a request, not a partnership or a product.
If you want your IDX website leads sent to Relationships, or another connection, suggest a connection and tell us the apps you use. Your request helps us decide what to look at next. You can also see every connection we track.
Questions realtors ask
Is LionDesk still available?
Lone Wolf, which owns LionDesk, said in May 2025 that LionDesk would keep running through September 2025. Its sign-in page was still online on October 10, 2026, but its developer connection (API) has been shut off. Plan to move your contacts rather than rely on it.
What moves if I use the Lone Wolf option?
Lone Wolf names contacts only. It does not say that notes, tasks or campaigns move, so check your new account after the move.
Can I connect Lone Wolf Relationships to my other apps?
Besides its Google or Outlook email sync, the only connection we found for adding contacts from other apps is Zapier, which can add a new contact to Relationships. It cannot read contacts or send them out. Virtual Results has asked Lone Wolf for access to connect Relationships; nothing is available yet.
Has Virtual Results set up or tested any of this?
No. These are the vendors' own published options. Each one depends on your accounts and plans, and none is a Virtual Results product.
